C2E Law Privacy Notice for Website Visitors

At C2E Law (“we”), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This notice informs you about how we collect and process your personal data when you use our website, www.c2elaw.co.uk (the “Site”), or when you make an enquiry. You directly provide us with the personal information we process for these reasons:

  • To submit an online enquiry; or
  • To enquire by phone or email

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, or to prequalify you for our book and to send it to you.

We might also use your information to market our services to you, with your consent. You can withdraw your consent anytime by unsubscribing from our marketing emails or by contacting us at jack@c2elaw.co.uk

We do not share your information with others, nor do we transfer it outside the UK.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), we rely on the following lawful bases for processing this information:

  • Contractual obligations;
  • Legitimate interest; or
  • Your consent.

Storing your personal information 

We securely store your information in Clio our client time management CRM.

We keep your contact details for one year, or throughout our contractual relationship, if any. Afterwards, we will securely dispose of your information unless we are required to retain it longer for legal reasons.

Analytics

When you visit www.c2elaw.co.uk we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out such things as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way that does not directly identify anyone. We do not make and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. We use the information to report on visitor numbers, and to make improvements to our service.

This information is collected only if visitors opt in. The information collected is classed as personal data because Google assigns a unique identifier to each visitor. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

We have measures to protect the information collected, which include: limiting the amount of data collected (including not collecting full IP addresses), setting a retention schedule, restricting access to our Google Analytics data, and regularly reviewing our use of analytics.

We keep analytics data for 14 months from a visitor’s last visit.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access – You can ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification – You can ask us to correct inaccuracies or complete incomplete information.

Your right to erasure – You can request the deletion of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing – You can object to our processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
